In creating this piece, I wanted to engulf the viewer in a field of blossoms, with each stroke brimming with passion and joy. My use of acrylics in an impressionist style captures the wild, untamed beauty of nature—evoking a sense of serenity and wonder. This painting is meant to bring a vibrant splash of life and color, energizing any space with its cheerful spirit.
One of my sold paintings was featured on the Jan/Feb 2025 cover of Healthcare Design Magazine. In this painting above, I used evidence-based design strategies and guidelines to create art that triggers the brain to create happiness (dopamine) chemicals. I am an evidence-based design (EDAC) certified artist and author of the book, 100 Days Of Happy Happy Art, Evidence-Based Design. We now have the technology to study our brains on art, and I happily use this knowledge while creating paintings for others.
