This abstract artwork has meaning and merit. My Smart City Art series was the featured art at the 2025 SRI Sustainability Research & Innovation Congress in Chicago. Scientists and researchers from around the word were saying about sustainability, "We have the science. We just need the word to get out." It's 2026, and at least here in the USA, the word has gotten out, and fires are raging around the world, but so many people I talk to still outright reject climate science or discourage action.
In this piece, I poured raw emotion into chaotic layers of acrylic, pen, spray, and ink, capturing the frantic struggle between progress and preservation.
