I spent an enormous amount of time on the water as a child. When you are young, everything seems so personal and alive. This triptych painting presents a view from the deck of a moving boat. It captures nature’s amazing waves as they rise and fall and join together.

Like many of today’s architects, interior designers, and product designers for the healthcare industry, Dorothea Sandra is also evidence-based design (EDAC) certified. She brings into her abstract art knowledge of designing for human health and happiness based on the latest medical/scientific studies.

She was recently interviewed by the International Arts + Mind Lab at the Center for Applied Neuroaesthetics, Pedersen Brain Science Institute at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for her evidence-based design art.
